Give Your Child the Gift of Confidence - Rise-N-Lead Internship

Our Rise-N-Lead Internship at Parkour East Texas is designed to help individuals grow in confidence. We start by helping each intern shift from being a passive learner in our parkour community to stepping into a new version of themself that is an active contributor. We help them understand they have learned enough to be valuable to others and that they can be a leader.

We practice public speaking opportunities in our intern trainings. The environment is welcoming and fun. Interns get to lead practice sessions with the other interns and practice giving instructions as they learn how to communicate better.  In the summer interns get to extend their confidence development by coaching in real classes. They often start with a warm-up and move to harder things like a game or skill as they grow in confidence, communication, and knowledge of coaching. 

Our internship is available to all students Level 3 and beyond. It is one of the youngest available leadership opportunities in East Texas. 

For older interns who start their coaching journey with basic confidence we fast track them to more challenging scenarios, responsibility and learning opportunities so they can be pushed and grow. Our teen interns have access to the Propel Neuro Coaching 8 week course LAUNCH for 75% off this year (2025). We believe in going deep and coming alongside committed members of our parkour community in order to help our community strengthen and grow. The stronger our older student leaders are, the stronger our community is. This offer is only available to teen interns because the course is most meaningful to older youth due to the content that is covered.
