Stimulate Brain Growth - Early Childhood Pre-Parkour Program (Part 1)

Developing the ability to use both sides of the body in a coordinated manner is a major development milestone. It starts with learning to crawl and expands to being able to walk, balance, and eventually run.

The more opportunities a young child is given to practice tasks that require balance, the more Neuro networks they develop in the brain. This includes developing the Corpus Callosum which is the key for formal reasoning (logic and eventually becoming a fully functioning adult with reasoning skills that allow them to be successful in life no matter what they face).

The brain of a young child is so moldable that it is a prime time to challenge the brain with balance and cross lateral challenges for optimum neuro network development that will serve them well throughout the rest of their life. We pack our Parkour classes full of these opportunities with scientifically back movements that promote growth and development of the brain and neuro networks in the brain.

Research has shown that the Corpus Callosum of individuals with ADHD is smaller than the average person. This makes it even more critical for children with tendencies to neurodivergence to participate in focused neuro network development through childhood! The more the brain develops networks the more the brain can control impulses and critical thinking skills!

Our MAND Early Childhood classes have an increased focus on research backed movements that help children exhibiting neurodivergent tendencies to begin creating neuro networks to reduce or reverse the challenges that are starting to surface.
