The Mission Of Parkour East Texas: Partnering with Parents in Raising Unusually Confident and Humble Leaders (Part 3)
Jan 28, 2025The last few blogs we talked about part 1 and 2 of our mission at Parkour East Texas to partner with parents in raising unusually confident and humble leaders.
Part 3 is our pre-assistant to coach training program. This is our deepest program of leadership, personal development, and radical transformation. This program only a few choose to embrace and commit to. Each participant that has fully committed and participated in this program so far has had a life changing experience. If this is something you are interested in, we encourage you to talk to any parents of our teen ADAPT L1 coaches and pick their brains about the process, experience, and results they have seen in their youth.
An individual must be at least 14 and in Level 4 or beyond to participate in this learning opportunity. They must apply for this program as well.
This program is about taking the leadership, confidence, and character of weekly parkour classes and the parkour mindset, as well as the internship and leaning into pursuing even more growth and development.
This program is about coming alongside the great work parents have already done and pushing the teenagers further and farther. It's about having a mentor see the potential inside and helping each individual pull out that flower waiting to bud and to blossom. It's about helping your teenager step into the best version of themself.
This program also provides an opportunity for a job (with pay eventually). It can also become a job with flexible hours when an individual graduates high school and takes the next step in life of trade school, or working, or college, or whatever they decide to do after highschool.
I, Hannah, have no intention of using this program to create career coaches out of everyone who participates. My goal is to equip youth in a unique and powerful way with leadership skills, confidence, and awareness of how their brain works so they can use that for their benefit in whatever they choose to do in life. I pour a considerable amount of time and energy into each participant in this track. Any participant who wants to stay and coach in a longer term way I am happy to expand a parkour program in their area as best we can. And any participant who wants to move on after high school I am happy to part ways and cheer them on in their future adventures and goals. The goal of this program is mentoring and partnering with parents in cultivating unusually confident and humble leaders. After that, the goal is for each individual to lean into the person they were meant to become and pursue the dreams God has placed on their heart.
