Nov 27, 2024Our Rise-N-Lead Internship is one of the few leadership opportunities in East Texas that starts with elementary students. The program has many different elements that allow for each student to be successful while also being challenged.
While the program is a coaching internship, the lessons our interns learn go far beyond coaching. Interns develop public speaking skills, confidence, critical thinking, empathy and ability to pull out the best in others.
Our interns are trained to look past the surface level and find specific ways to encourage and support students. This skill goes far beyond coaching and will enhance anything they choose to do in life.
All students in Level 3 and beyond are invited to participate in the internship! 2nd year interns will have a different curriculum than 1st year interns with some team challenges with all intern groups!
